In October 2025 I will be attending the 3rd Taiwan International Chawan Festival at the Miaoli Craft Park in Miaoli City, Taiwan from 30 October until 16 November 2025. My work will be exhibited along with a range of international as well as local Taiwanese ceramists.
This year the theme is “Wanran Universe”. Each tea bowl is regarded as an independent universe, condensing the vision and emotions of the creator. In the process of kneading and firing, earth, water, fire and wind are intertwined and danced to shape the living utensils that intertwine all things. And when the audience stops to enjoy and use it with their own hands, the universe becomes more complete.
